By completing a purchase or submitting a service request, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
Heardworx is a consumer automotive advisory service based in Chicago, Illinois. We provide written reports and consultations to help consumers make informed decisions about vehicle repair estimates and diagnostic codes. Heardworx is operated as an independent advisory service and is not a licensed automotive repair facility.

All services provided by Heardworx are advisory and informational in nature. Our reports and consultations represent the professional opinion of our advisor based on information submitted by the client. They do not constitute:
Heardworx is not liable for any decisions made based on the contents of a report or consultation. All decisions regarding vehicle repair, authorization of work, or engagement with a repair facility remain solely the responsibility of the client. Always consult a licensed repair facility before authorizing any repair work.
All services must be paid in full at the time of booking or order submission. We accept payment via Stripe (credit and debit cards). By completing payment, you agree to these Terms of Service and authorize the applicable charge.
For "Come to Me" in-person services: a credit of the full consultation fee will be applied toward repair or service work exceeding $200 in total, if that work is completed through our shop. The credit is applied at the time of service and cannot be combined with other offers or carried over.
All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of our advisory reports, we do not offer refunds once a report has been delivered or a consultation has been conducted.
In exceptional circumstances, refund requests may be considered at the sole discretion of Heardworx. To raise a concern, contact us at heardworx@gmail.com. We will respond within 2 business days.
If a report is not delivered within the stated 24-hour window due to circumstances on our end, a full refund will be issued automatically.
To receive an accurate advisory report, clients are responsible for:
Heardworx is not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete reports resulting from insufficient or unclear information provided by the client. In such cases, we will contact you at your provided email address to request additional information.
Remote advisory reports are delivered to the client's provided email address within 24 hours of payment confirmation, during normal business hours. Heardworx will make reasonable efforts to meet this window but does not guarantee delivery time in cases of exceptional volume, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control.
In-person and on-site consultations are scheduled by appointment. Scheduling confirmation will be sent to your provided email address.
All reports, documents, and written materials produced by Heardworx are the intellectual property of Heardworx. Reports are licensed to the client for personal use only. They may not be resold, republished, or distributed without written permission from Heardworx.
Heardworx reports are prepared by our advisor and formatted with the assistance of AI tools. The advisor's expertise and final review constitute the product. AI assistance is used as a formatting and clarity tool only and does not replace professional judgment.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Heardworx and its advisors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to vehicle repair costs, property damage, or loss of use of a vehicle.
Our total liability to any client for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by that client for the specific service in question.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
Heardworx reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
